EmmaWonder FAQ
Each session centers on a real illustrated narrative. Learning goals live inside the tale. Extra practice is there when you want it, and you can stop at the last page.
EmmaWonder weaves practice into each story. Eight learning areas return every session, always tied to that tale: • Understand stories: follow the plot, remember details, and talk about what it means. • Order and cause: put events in order and see what comes before and after. • Words and communication: grow vocabulary, sentences, and how to express ideas. • Focus and notice: pay attention, spot details, and listen carefully. • Think and solve: use logic, patterns, and memory to find answers. • Numbers and how the world works: practice counting, math, and simple science ideas. • Create and imagine: draw, write, act, and invent new story ideas. • Feelings and kind choices: name emotions, empathize, and think about caring choices. Activities stay optional and linked to the same story. Emphasis shifts naturally by age.
Those assistants are open-ended chat: anyone can type almost anything, in any order. EmmaWonder is not a chat box for children. You follow a guided flow that ends with a full illustrated story and read-aloud matched to your child’s age, then optional activities that stay tied to that same story. There is no free typing for kids; choices stay focused on reading and learning in a calm, age-appropriate format.
Your family's data stays yours. We do not use it to train any AI model.
You set your child's age once. EmmaWonder unlocks a tailored activity set: ages 3 to 4 get short tap-friendly games; 5 to 7 add vocabulary and light reasoning; 8 to 12 unlock richer puzzles, interviews, and creative challenges. The calm read-then-play rhythm stays the same; only the practice adapts.
Parents and caregivers of children from about three to twelve who want illustrated stories with read-aloud and optional practice tied to the same tale. It fits everyday routines at home, quieter screen time, extra reading or language exposure, families reinforcing goals they already discuss with school or a clinician, a calm bedtime story after a busy day or tiring journey, bilingual households where children practice the school language at home while reinforcing their mother tongue, and parents whose child is followed by a speech therapist who want gentle, story-based practice between sessions aligned with the goals you set in therapy. EmmaWonder supports learning through stories at home; it does not replace therapy or medical advice when those are needed.
Each story unlocks games across eight learning areas, all tied to that tale. Younger children see 20+ activities; older ones can access 40+. Quizzes, puzzles, drawing, vocabulary, emotions, and math appear when they fit the story and your child's age.
In the Parent Dashboard you see favorite themes, adventure types they return to, skills that show up in activities, favorite games, progress over time, and gentle ideas for what to try next. It is a calm weekly glance, not a wall of grades.
